Brake Servicing

Going to be replacing calipers, hoses, and depending on condition, brake pads all around, plus a complete flush of the lines. Any suggestions for good quality parts other than OEM? Not opposed to OEM but haven't ever had to replace brake components other than pads on regular vehicles and have just always used OEM.

I have had good luck with the Brake Best parts that is why I suggested O'Reilly's.
I did not have good luck with the ones from dealer(OEM) and NAPA.

    Thanks!!

  • Thanks for the input everyone. I guess I should have been more specific. I wasn't so much looking for where to buy as much as I would like to know if anyone has any personal experience with a specific brand of brake caliper other than the OEM.

It's in the signature, but my rig is a 1999 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 36' gas, Triton V10, Ford F53 Chassis.

  • I put EBC green brake pads on my 2010 Ram 3500 4x4 megacab TV that pulls my 39 ft Keystone Alpine FW. I had to increase my trailer brake voltage because they work so much better than stock and truck was doing more of the stopping. They are a little dustier but are organic. Made in the UK.
  • Get some part numbers and search them out at Rockauto.com. They usually give several alternatives for price and quality levels.
