Brazel's Ultrapower. Was I supposed to notice anything?

Maybe that's part of the problem? It's shifting into OD on an incline. It should be downshifting.

Sorry, you are correct. It is downshifting on slight inclines just as it always has.
Point being.... No change that we can see so far.

Well, you could be right. I'm thinking that I may have done something wrong OR it didn't take. I mean there was NO difference whatsoever so far.

Maybe if the OP also bought a K&N air filter, then he would feel like he was driving a rocket.

All that aftermarket stuff does is take money from your wallet into theirs with very little return on the investment.

Sure you fuel mileage should improve because your wallet is lighter.

I had a tuner on my diesel and definitely noticed an increase in power.

I honestly think that somehow the flash didn't take or something else went wrong. I followed the instructions and it all went according to the directions given. I actually hope that is the case, because there has been NO CHANGE whatsoever. Very disappointing.

When I had the Ultrapower done for my 8.1L engine I received a readout with the before and after HP and torque gains. Besides that, I definitely noticed a difference in the power I had for climbs.
I also remember that the Ultrapower can be tuned for various parameters. I wanted more power when towing in the Western mountains, which is what I got.
I could have had the Ultrapower tuned for better fuel mileage, which I am sure would not have made the same noticeable changes to my power output.
In other words, if it is tuned for maximum mileage instead of maximum power, I doubt if you will notice any changes in the way it drives. What did you ask for when you bought the Ultrapower?
