There is NO reason to go to an 'RV dealership' and/or leave your RV for months on end. None, nada, zip, zero reasons to use those whoremongers. :B
A major drivetrain/mechanical breakdown could indeed take alot of time to get parts and repair, and certainly wouldn't be done in a campground by a mobile RV repair guy.
X1 :). When I stop at an RV Park, the first thing I do is ask for 1. The name & phone # of the best Mobil RV service that comes to the park 2. Name and directions to the nearest hospital or Emergency clinic. Trying to find medical services at 2:00am if they are needed is not my first choice!!!!!
