Assuming you had a job, then I would load up the toad race home, save my vacation time, drive back, hook up the toad and continue the adventure.
If retired, then "no problem mon." Either live in the RV, or get an extended stay, and become part of the community. If near a cruise port look for a cheap cruise even.
