First thanks for all replies and everyone was spot on. Second I humbly accept the idiot award of the day. Before I called for mobile repair service I checked the fuses ,checked battery voltage, and actually moved the negative cable from the top post adaptor to the side post connection because the bolt wouldn't tighten down (felt stripped). I hand checked the positive and it felt tight. Didn't feel like it was battery related because auxiliary battery switch wouldn't even engage. Well mechanic shows up , I explain the above he reaches in and pulls up on the positive cable connection and wife yells out the dash is on. It was just ever so slightly loose, once tighten everything was fine. So everyone one was correct and I was stupid for overlooking the obvious. Thanks again for all the posts and if I had been sitting at a campsite instead of blocking a gas pump I would of put them all to good use.
