I looked at the same thing years ago and found because they are commercial equipment the cost of repairs to things like the engine and transmission would be excessive, much more than a RV.

A friend of mine owns a couple of tour buses. He has talked about paying $20K+ to fix a transmission. In contrast we can buy a rebuild replacement for around $3K with core trade.
