I do know that you are not allowed to bring in modded class 5 trucks...I was given a heads up on another forum about Canadians not being allowed to bring in their class 5s that they had purchased in the states..I knew about this because I was reading the mentioned list..we has tried to bring in a car a couple years earlier so I know how sticky Canada can be can be..(my neighbor bought a car on e-bay and had to return it as well) . I was negotiating with a gent from Ontario on his unit that he posted on Kijiji...when we were getting down to brass tacks, he mentioned that it was still registered in Texas where he bought it...I said that before i paid, it would have t have an Ontario registration. It was the last I hear from him...
It is very important that you check with the RIV on what you can import...because there are "deals" in the states to be had.. but we can be caught like the couple who purchased the class b...

BTW, I personally know 2 Rv stores locally that refuse to do warranty work on American bought RVs..that that is directly from their owners...now if you are willing to ante up the cash, that is ok..and sometimes the parts are different as well...
i bought a 5th that has no dealers in Atlantic Canada but I am ok with that...
