In your situation, I would say you're better off buying a good used truck and trailer. A used truck and trailer in good condition will cost significantly less than a comparable MH will cost. And, as you will be living in it, you don't want to lose the house if the engine needs professional work done (and if the trailer needs professional work, you could still use to the truck to get a job to pay for that work).
With a MH, if either has an issue, you're out everything.
It is not likely you'll find a MH that will be dependable for live-in and dependable for travel for $11,000 - regardless of how much of that you put up for purchase vs. how much you save for repair work.
