Jayco-noslide, I tend to agree with everything you said. I didn't realize an "A" would be easier for backing in.
rgatijnet1, I am fairly handy. Owned travel trailers for a while now and not once brought them in. I do all basic maintenance and basic troubleshooting. You are correct, it has saved me thousands through the years. In order to stay in my comfort zone for repairs, I am not going to consider diesel.
azdryheat, I prefer newer too, but I have to do what is logical, and I haven't convinced myself that spending twice as much has value for me. Honestly, even if I go new, it will be 2017 models...6 speed and a bit of depreciation.
Johno02, I haven't gotten those warm fuzzies from a dealer yet...ever...car or RV.
It seems many of the used models that peak my interest are on WorkHorse chassis (currently eyeing a nearby 2006 Fleetwood Southwind 37c). I understand they are no longer made and there were some years with brake issues? Should I be avoiding the chassis?
