California Hwy. 299
Can a 40 foot Motorhome travel on Hwy. 299 from Arcadia to Redding, CA. In other words, how are the roads for a 40 foot RV?

Sigh. Second time driving the motorhome... was fine until the big twisty big climb outside of Redding... didn't downshift quick enough... didn't watch the "tailwag" enough on a sharp turn and the DH took over at the next wide spot. Can't say I liked the road much, but it's doable. Made me wish for the 5er - easier to drive (my DH disagrees of course...)
But there was lots of road work.. and don't think they are finished yet. This was in October.
