California speed limit for motorhome with toad

In California (and Oregon, and probably others) the freeways have signs that say something like, "All vehicles while towing, limit 55 mph". This is even when the posted limit is 65 or 70. My mot...

55 mph in California really works fine for me. I might move up a couple of miles per hour but usually less than 60.

My problem is, is that I will coast up to 70 mph going down those L O N G grades to take advantage of the momentum. I have never gotten a ticket but that's probably when they'll get me.
