Exactly - cops figure you're travelling through and won't hang around for a court date.
And again not true. In fact I shouldn't have said in my last post that cops don't care if you take it to court. Traffic court for the cops is big money overtime! I used to make a 3 hour minimum for traffic court and now most agencies get 4 or more hours. So I go to traffic court for an hour and get 3 hours overtime pay for it.
