We have been camping out on Lake Havasu until yesterday and the winds have been around 25 MPH gusting to 35-40 MPH we moved yesterday and were on the Colorado River just below Parker Dam and the winds here are calmer but it still blows good in the late afternoon. Last night driving home from Parker, AZ. My I-Phone weather alert went off (very similar to a amber alert) warning us of high winds and fire danger? The wind here is blowing out of the Northeast toward the West. Across the River from our Camping spot is San Bernardino County, California desert. We’re about 240 miles East of Los Angeles is my guess.
