Include Foretravel in your search....
Yes, I did check on the Foretravels. They are certainly nice coaches with Cummins engines, etc. I just like the Newell's design better. The Newell factory is closer to me when I'm in TN, not that it matters that much really.
Just yesterday, I checked out two new Newell coaches on display in Indio, CA, just down the road from me. Toured them and really like the fit and finish. We toured the Newell factory about a year ago in Miami, OK. Also toured the Marathon factory in Oregon.
One reason I'm leaning towards the Newell is I DO like window awnings and a window in the bathroom which Prevost's do not have. The awnings help with privacy while in a RV park. I also like the one level where the driver's and passenger seat are on the same level. Prevost makes the XLII chassis with the seats at the same level, the H3 have the driver area lower than the salon area.
Both Prevost and Newell have the interior air operated doors. The Prevost's have only 4 windows that open, two in the salon and two in the bedroom. The Newell can have as many as you want.
The larger engine in the Newell grabs me since these coaches weigh in at 50,000+ lbs.
