I will second Forrest's suggestion to visit newellgurus.com and pose your question. All brands have fervent followers, but I don't think you will get rabid input over there.

I like the mid door setup so that I can escape the coach in the early mornings without disturbing the kids or occasional guests in the front salon.
In my opinion I put newell owners in tow categories. Ones with money who can afford anything they want, and Newell will build whatever you want. The second crowd tends to be engineers and other folks who made their living technically. They appreciate the purpose built construction with simple but elegant engineering design.
The customer interface at Newell is totally unique whether you own a 2014 or a 1984 model, they treat you the same.
