Looked at the display coach again today. I have to correct something that I mentioned in a previous post. The exhaust for the generator and Aqua-Hot exit out the rear of the coach down low. Previous Newell models had their exhaust exit in several locations including the roof depending on the floor plan.
We talked numbers, deposits, etc., and the time frame would be at the end of the year and it will be a 2016 model if we decide to go forward. The next step will be a test drive.
A buyer has a choice to have the side view mirrors located high (arms extending from the top corners) or from a lower position where the arms are located at the base of the windshield. I think I would prefer the arms be at the lower position because the sunshades are made to not block the view of the mirrors. WIth the mirrors located up high, it makes the sun shades useless as they are at least 10-12 inches from the A pillar. And you know how the sun always seems to find a way to blind you!

I would definitely go with the lower mirrors. I first ran into that when reviewing an Entegra Coach, which has a deep windshield and nice, low mirrors. The low mirrors made it easy to see out over the top of them, eliminating blind spots. The low positionalso gave me a better angle of view in that I could see the rear tires down low as well as way back behind the coach. With higher mirrors you have to adjust them more to see either the tires or into the distance because the geometry between the driver and mirrors is different. Low is the way to go. :)
