For the most part, people are people. We've seen friendly RVers and unfriendly RVers but it didn't seem to relate strictly to a class of RVs. We find that out by walking the dog around the campground. Cruising around the roads with a 140 lb friendly German Shepherd draws people out (or not) from any kind of RV. At that point they don't know what kind of RV we have, just that we are RVers. I think about the snobby thing sometime when we are sitting in our coach. I thik that the reason you see friendly people with smaller RVs out at the picnic table is because they don't have that much room or amenities. When you have nice diesel pusher you tend to spend more time inside enjoying it, which doesn't prove you are snobby, just that you enjoy your RV. To a certain extent I do see owners of a few brands do appear a bit more snobby when outside but its not overall.
Also, I've been to Newell and seen their mid-door and front door floor plans. For the most part the older Newells seem to have more mid-door plans but the vast majority of the newer ones have front doors. You do lose a bit of access to basement space with a mid door but the main reason is that you break up the wall space. With a front door you have a long expanse to do a galley, couch, desk or whatever without having to worry about a door breaking up that space. To each his own but I thought I'd bring that point up as one to consider when making your decision.
