- HorsedocExplorer IIWe were up through that area a few years ago. Stay away from Miss Scarlett's Restaurant and RV park. Bad electric cost me a bundle.
- The_Shadow_NosExplorerI can't tell you about campgrounds but I can tell you a good place to eat. Check out Patti's 1880's Settlement in Grand River Ky. There phone number is 1-888-736-2515
- kknowltonExplorer IIPiney CG (in the TN end) is our favorite. Have camped both there & Hillman Ferry. Canal CG is nice but I wouldn't want to maneuver a big rig around in there.
- two_travelersExplorerWe also stayed in the Hillman Ferry CG. Nice place lots of trees and sites seem well placed. Would certainly go back.
- Dick_BExplorerDid you search this Forum for `land between the lakes' in the RV Parks section?

- sdianel_-acct_cExplorerWe stayed at Canal Campground Corps of Engineers on Lake Barkley. Their lake sites are heavily wooded and some are a challenge to get to for larger rigs. September and we saw no vacant sites as we drove around the park. - JoeHExplorer IIII was at Hilman Ferry CG a couple years ago. I had a fully wooded site ( pull thru) that accommodated the 37 ft MH and toad with no issue. I think it was site 37
