People on this thread who defend the guy that tried to steal my stuff are very likely thieves themselves. We are not beginners in the RV scene. These annoying thefts of small value items have occurred about 4 times over a 10 year period. Thinking about it, these incidents have happened in "RV Parks" and not in public campgrounds where we prefer to stay. Whenever we leave for the day, we decide what to do to mark our spot. If you clean up everything you run the risk of having someone take your spot, a big hassle if you return at night.
