"Camping Brownout" or "New Converter/Switcher in my Future?"

Took our "new to us" 2011 Coachmen Mirada out for our first camping trip -- a one-nighter to the local state park. Good news is that we made it back with absolutely no damage to vehicle or occupant...

What I think the others are saying if you have a bad battery, it could be making the converter work over time till it over heats, and turns off. The good battery runs down the converter cools down starts working again and the cycle starts all over again.
Pull the bad battery and see if it starts working right .
