As others have said there will be a few campgrounds where the roads will be the factor in whether you can use one of the spaces. We find many of the park rangers or staff will allow an RV'er to drive the wrong way with an escort to get to a site if the normal way to the site is too tight.
I would get the DP you want and always have a plan B place to stay if you can't get in to your first choice. For example nearby most State and National campgrounds there will be private RV Parks. Most Private RV Parks will accommodate larger RVs.
