It's telling you that it is an excellent chassis which is used by several motorhome manufacturers which obviously has several purposes. I think the OP will be very happy with his new Newmar King Air, they are very well thought-out high end coaches on a great chassis.
The salesman was stretching a couple of items (in my opinion) but each coach will service the customer well.
Prevost uses the Volvo engine with 500 hp and 1,750 lb. ft. of torque and the Cummins has 600 hp. with 1,950 lb. ft. of torque.
