That is true. I am mainly interested in the differences between Spartan and Prevost, but I have to tell you that I am learning a lot on this thread and really enjoy hearing about some of the other differences.
Holstein13, I apologize as I may have steered your thread away from chassis only info, but, I too, have found the conversation interesting.
You are right about the style of the rear wheels of the Prevost not having anything to do with the disc brakes. We have that on our current coach and have the matching drive and tag wheels.
I think Prevost just does it that way as other chassis manufacturers (Freightliner may have done the same). I remember when the Allegro Bus by Tiffin went to the Spartan chassis and that's when I noticed the matching wheels. Monaco also did the same on the Roadmaster chassis having matching wheels.
