With fuel Prices going down ($2.75 for regular here in Rhode Island) and knowing that they are sure to go up by springtime, is there any reason I can't fill up my MH now and keep close to a full tank ...

I have a bunch of gas engines I use in different applications. Those that had sta-bil did not develop varnish in their carburetors during long storage and those that had just plain gasoline did.
