Here's another suggestion. Once you've parked the coach, go out and connect your water, sewer and electric while the slides are in and easy to reach. You can then operate the slides with the assistance of shore power. When you leave, bring slides in and then disconnect.
When we boondock, I start my generator before moving the slides so that I can raise my satellite.
It's not a huge issue, but I don't like running my slides out when boondocking, without the generator running, because it gives the batteries a big zap at the start of your boondocking.
