Those motors may be physically small but they can draw a lot of current. The motors on my 8 foot slide alone draw up to 50amps. This is a substantial drain on the battery bank and causes a substantial voltage drop if the generator or the engine alternator is not helping. Low voltage can cause damage to the slide motors without that help.
