Canadian Coaches

Hi all.....looking to purchase a Winnebago Adventurer that has been in Canada since its original delivery in 2011. Curious if that should be a concern ref the weather and elements. Not really familiar with the exact location and the exterior seems very clean although the tires have been replaced by the dealer due to weathering...he put Durun tires on it aarrrggg. Car fax also shows a "non-collision accident" in 2013. Is there anyway to research this further. Thanks for any and all replies.

  • I would be quite concerned about what is required to bring it across the border and register/title it in the US. I would think there would be taxes/fees and legal requirements associated with it
  • The Dealership that I bought my Winnebago Adventurer Roy Robinson RV in Marysville, Washington State ships Winnebago Adventurers via barge to Alaska every year. The Adventurer is Winnebagos top of the line gas coach! It is one of the best insulated gas coaches on the market. Unless the owner abused that coach in storage ( leaks that weren't fixed or leaving doors or windows open etc.) the RV shouldn't have any troubles at all with be stored in the winter. The tires I've never heard of. A non collision accident could be a tree branch falling on the coach while it was parked. A title search of previous owners could revel more info on that coach. Good Luck
