Your lines coming from the RV send a positive charge that goes one way to the trailer. Therefore it has to have a good ground at the lights. I would check the lights for good grounds,(usually green wire to a metal ground point which may be rested. Scrape the rust off of the ground point to reestablish a ground. Sometimes the bulbs also get rusted or corroded so take them out and check the bulbs and sockets.
