Come on guys.. stop the California bashing. It's a great state (well except for a lot of the Southern half). I have also had issues with nozzle fit in WA and AZ. W/I improperly designed the fuel fill opening, and CA did not allow for it's use. W/I has apparently not offered any help with resolving this?
As per the link I posted above, some options include moving the inlet outboard and tilting slightly downward with shims. I'll try that first so that I don't have to carry another thing for a single use. If that doesn't work, I'll modify an oil can spout to extend the nozzle, and add some method of compressing the rubber cuff without spending $20 for a McCuff.
