Thanks Fireup. I always learn a lot on here. You mention poor quality gears and it reminds me of Toro lawn mowers back in the late 70's, they went from being one of the best self propelled lawn mowers to having sintered/pressed gears that didn't last long at all. Huge warranty costs. Same with Mc Culloch chain saws. They were one of the first to go with chrome plated cylinders and bore the weight of an early design flaw.
