You may want to try an lower-priced, smaller, and older Class C that has minimal use like a 2000 model with under 50K miles; that way you won't have too big an investment if things don't work out the way you hoped. Then if you're happy with a Class C for your travels, look for a higher quality, larger, used unit such as Coach House or Born Free to enjoy. If you get a good deal on the starter Class C, then you can probably get you investment back when you purchase a higher-end make. A nice 10 year old 27 ft Coach House with low miles will cost you about $50K but you maybe should wait a few years before making that kind of investment just to be sure you're happy with the Class C motorhomes.
