Cargo Carrier

Anybody use a cargo carrier for their Pleasure Way Class B? Is so what's the best one? I want to be able to access my rear door without having to dissemble the whole thing. Thanks Jack

  • lI use a unit from an outfit called Letsgoaero. They will sell you a sliding rack that extends to permit the rear doors to open. It also has a rise to it to give better ground clearance. It fits a standard hitch. I mounted my own aluminum box on it that you can buy anywhere. It can be mounted to clear the spare if it is that is hanging on the rear door.

I don't have a cargo carrier but I'm considering one for my Roadtrek 190P. Quite a few RT owners have the StowAway box that comes in two sizes. A few weeks ago, I camped next to a Pleasureway owner who had a Rola. These cargo boxes can be equipped with a swing-away hitch so you have access to the rear door. If your class B carries the spare tire on the back, you will have to use a hitch extender to clear the tire. I think the Stowaway box can be ordered with a longer hitch. The web sites for both boxes is below.
