As a dog owner, and someone that showed dogs for 20 years, I do not believe in dogs being left outside and I do not believe in tying up a dog, for any reason. I can't tell you how many dogs die each year due to this. I also agree that if a dog does damage, same as if a kid does damage, it is not up to me to assess the amount. It is what it is and I would pay it. However, one of our dogs is a service dog and goes everywhere with me (stores, movies, etc.) and the other is 16.5 years old and sleeps 99 percent of his life. We have been to this park before too and LOVED it. Hope they are not going down hill, as that would be so sad We planned to return in 2014.
