Good discussion for me as I am getting ready to change oil for the first time in my C7. I have been going around and around on what to get. I found six gallons of 15-40 Rotella for $73, which I was set on. However, I see a Black Friday special on mobile1 diesel for $3.99 a quart. That will be an equivalent $96 for the 6 gallons. (Plan on doing the genset, too). I also have found Delo 400LE, 15-40 $68 for 6 gallons.
Which way to go? Probably wouldn't do the Mobil1 next time around due to cost for what may be little benefit.
Suggestions?
