Thanks for all the input Guys. I think I feel better about just staying with the Rotella 15W-40 I've been using since the coach was new almost 10 years ago. I change the oil annually with usually less than 6,500-7,500 miles during that time.
And it really is amazing at how black how quick that new oil can get.
While we're on the oil change question, what is the feeling about warming up the engine just before draining the oil versus draining it cold after setting for a couple of weeks or so?
And Spizzer, be careful on your first oil change for your C-7. 19 quarts will put mine up to the full mark and no spew over the rear of the coach. I think some places were showing 22 quarts for the C-7 but was found to be too much.
And I didn't know the W after the first number stood for "winter", for some reason always thought it was for "weight".
