We have a Cat C7 350 and the HUEI pump went out. The injectors has to also be replaced because when the pump goes, it puts out metal shavings. Thank goodness our extended maintenance plan covered it. It went out at about 45K miles.
We take very good care of the coach bbut we do not know how well the previous owners cared for it.
That said, it has been a very good engine and I would not hesitate to purchase another one with that engine.
