Now the bad things the Westland, MI police department has no way for me to put the police report in from here in Florida. That won't take it over the phone either I thinking about writing up all the pertinent information and e mailing to the Chief of Police to get it on the record.
They may not give you the report via em, but I think that at least they can give you the report filing number. That's all you'd need for your insurance company. At least that's all I needed to do with State Farm (years ago though). And, they should be able mail a copy to your home address. You have someone picking up your mail there, right? Or use a forwarding service?
