Ceiling surface balooning when rear A/C has run a while

Not sure if this is a safety issue or not but, At times usually in the hot weather in the southwest and we have been running our rear A/C for a while, the ceiling fabric/material baloon's about 8-10 f...

Yeah, sounds like a leaking duct. Some have accessed the area through a nearby light or air register. If that's not an option you can cut a hole and install a new register to gain access. Leaks like that can severely affect your cooling.
