I had purchased the wilson system like yours and the main drawback is that small candy bar inside antenna is worthless. I never was able to get much boost and you have to sit 1-2ft from that crappy antenna. I actually mounted the trucker antenna on the batwing of my old rig which worked well. I have a new to me TT now and need to find a new way to mount that as well. I ran my cables through the roof vent as I have max air covers. never leaked. But this time I ma getting the building system with a larger antenna that is meant for rooms. My TT is 8x34 and the living section is 8X22 and we want to just sit and use the phones anywhere not being stuck in one spot. Good luck
