This is what I think I am going to do. When I am out and about I could really careless about making/receiving phone calls. But because of my job I have to do my best to get internet wherever I am.
I think what I am going to do is just put on a smoke colored MaxxAir II (which I've been meaning to install anyways to keep the light out in the morning) over the bedroom vent. Drill a hole in the side of the vent and fish the wire down. Then run it over to the cabinet above the bed and mount the wireless router with the aircard installed in it.
My only concern at the moment is I may have the booster way to close to the antenna. I'm hoping that the roof and cabinet are enough to block the interference. I'd hate to drill a hole in the vent and not use it.
