Changing the fixtures on the shower

Ditto. Ours has a panel in the pantry that forms the other side of the shower wall.
FYI, did a lot of looking for Kitchen and Vanity faucets. Fooled around with the big box stores, then blundered into Phoenix brand on Amazon. The tricky one was Kitchen. Wanted one with spacing for the two handles, no center hole (common to residential faucets), and high rise. And there it was! Perfect fit and less expensive than big box.
These are washer-less quarter-turn valves, not the old style with cartridges and washers.
$14 on Amazon Prime. Bathroom vanity faucet about the same price, Kitchen about $10 more. And right to my door. Amazon continues to amaze me.
