Modern battery chargers will NOT charge and absolutely DEAD battery. Jump start it, hold fast idle for about 10 minutes, shutdown and immediately connect the charger.
Just jump, attach charger, start charging, remove the jump and let it rip.
For the OP: if you are plugged in or have solar you can add a Trik-L-Start combiner to keep the chassis battery charged. Letting any battery run that low will cause sulfation and permanent loss of capacity.
