Charging inverter batteries off the alternator

I am trying to figure how to wire my alternator to charge the inverter batteries in my M/H while riding down the road. I am sure the topic has been broached before but where would I find an answer to ...

Virtually ALL motorhomes charge both HOUSE and CHASSIS battery from the alternator.

So, I would start by troubleshooting the system you already have.
