You should have throttle body injection on a '92 Chev P30 chassis.
The heat from the manifold will not have that much effect even during warm up.
I would make sure the valve is in the open position or just remove it.
Which gasket are you trying to find? The one on the throat of the throttle body or inside the air cleaner it self.
