Chevy cut away chassis putting gas in

I have that problem every so often and I thought it was the filler tube,but here in Calif. we have those vapor recovery boots and I have found that is the problem around here. They get worn and don't work right,making it a pain to fill up.

I just finished a trip with 5 fueling stops. All the new places,like the Costcos I used all worked just fine,click it on and wait,just did it today,no problem. The older places not so much.
