Chicago to Upper state New York and beyond questions....

First major length trip after retirement this September. Need suggestions on traveling from the Chicago land area to upper state New York and possibly Eastward than back home thru the civil war battle...

Regarding papers for your pet. You should have a statement from your vet (Small Animal Health Certificate in MO) detailing its health and current vaccination status as if you were shipping it to/from Canada.
