Hi, has anyone thought about going from rv to tiny house

I never studied up on them but would question whether they'd be allowed to be trailered on the highways or allowed in RV parks. Also, do they have holding tanks?

Going from an RV to a tiny house? No way. We watch those tiny house shows and they really are tiny. An RV would be the much better choice: more elbow room, better storage. Even a park model would be a better choice.

I thought about buying/building a tiny house and then I decided to buy an RV instead for full time living. It's easier to move from point A to point B. A tiny house would be cool if I wanted to stay in one place longer. They often have really cool design features. Zoning can be tricky. I may go that route in the future when it's time to settle down more. I'm on the younger end of the spectrum for full timers. I may never want to settle down. ;)

No. It would require me to sell the big house, down size and affix an anchor.

Not for the price they are going for :S

No, but for the life of me I don't understand why you would not skip the Tiny House and just buy a much more livable RV!!!!!! This Tiny House thing is IMHO just a very inefficient RV design.

If I was going to live full time in something that small, I would much rather be in an RV. In the RV, I can travel to different places.

Nary a chance. Can't see any advantage in a tiny house over anything.

Well, better than a tent in ND at -30 deg F, but that would be the ONLY time!
