Originally i was thinking of buying a used class C motorhome. Then i started looking at smaller (30') class A's. What is the advantage or disadvantage of one over the other ?
The best crash safety is a class A built on a commercial passenger/tour bus, since those have full steel bodies and meet commercial high occupancy passenger transportation crash safety standards, set by the USDOT and NHTSA.
A typical RV industry wood/aluminum/fiberglass class A house body isn't built to any standards at all and is a giant coffin on wheels built of toothpics and glue, in a serious crash.
