If you plan to retire and just sit in one place, then an RV does not make sense. If you plan on traveling in the USA, it makes perfect sense.
X2. I've often heard that when you get older you regret the things you didn't do more than some of the things you did.
Buy a RV and go see America while you are able.
Or, keep your money for another 50 years and then decide. :)
