Storage is not neccesarily greater. I've seen some gassers with a lot of storage. Capacity maybe. Longevity really isn't an issue on either. The v-10 will last a long time unless you are talking a million miles. Other than power related points you already noted, the ride and noise is usually superior to a gasser. Thats probably the biggest seller for most. Fit and finish is not always better but usually is. The down side is cost. You pay for that power and comfort. Depends on your needs wants and budgets. The benefits are there, will you use it enough to pay the hefty price tag and do you have the money or do you want to spend it? Pretty simple really. Not sure why this always gets into a debate. DP's are better in a lot of ways but they cost more. Just like anything. Decide what you want and what you want to pay.
